Sberbank Announces Creation of Its Messenger
OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank presented its new digital product - Sberbank Messenger. The service was announced on May 11 at Finovate, an international conference which was held in San Jose, USA.
Sberbank Messenger is a communication platform built using Sberbank Online, which lets users communicate with friends and colleagues, as well as with services, stores, and local businesses. The application lets users easily find, select and order goods and services from reliable companies, talk with sales representatives and receive personalised special offers.
One of the advantages of Messenger is its smart search function, which finds the most suitable contacts for each request. The service works using data about the user, his/her preferences and needs. The smart search algorithm also takes geolocation, user habits and transaction data into account.
Sberbank Messenger is not only a convenient service for consumers, but is also a powerful business platform for attracting new clients and servicing existing ones. Communication can take place either as person-to-person or by using artificial intelligence.
"In August we will launch closed beta testing of the service and invite users and businesses to take part, including service providers, stores, aggregators and developers. Launching the messenger will also let us study the experience of interacting with clients using the form factor of chats in order to improve the bank's other digital products," commented Svyatoslav Ostrovsky, Head of Sberbank's Bank XXI Department.
