UniCredit Bank to present first contactless ATM in Kyiv
OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2016. UniCredit Bank presents first contactless ATM in the capital. The ATM with a special contactless device is installed at the bank’s branch on 14 Saksahanskoho Street.
The new ATM enables easier and safer non-cash transactions for all holders of MasterCard contactless payment cards. All one needs to do is bring a contactless card or device close to the reading unit of the ATM and choose the transaction.
The ATM is also available for holders of cards equipped with magnetic stripe and chip. And those who open contactless cards at the branch on 14 Saksahanskoho Street on August 12 will get pleasant surprises from the bank.
“According to the previous experience our customers are usually very enthusiastic about our innovative solutions – over 25 000 clients use contactless cards in our bank. They encourage us to develop new solutions and offer innovative services,” Head of Sales Department at UniCredit Bank Oleksandr Hryhorenko said. “To make use of contactless cards even more convenient for our customers we constantly expand the infrastructure where they can perform transactions with their cards. In June our bank presented Ukraine’s first contactless ATM in Lviv. In capital city we present second one and till the end of September innovative ATM will be installed also in Odesa, Kharkiv and Dnipro. We are very proud that UniCredit Bank is the first in Ukraine to offer contactless cash withdrawal to clients.”
