OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2016. Scottrade, Inc., a leading financial services firm, has been busy working to improve the client experience, and today revealed updates to its client website that will make the trading and investing experience easier for clients.

All site navigation moved to new top menus. Clients can now explore each tab by hovering over it without leaving the current page, which means fewer clicks and easier searches.

“For clients, this will make information easier to find and shorten the click paths to the most popular site activities,” said Derrick Brooks, Scottrade vice president of digital solutions. “While the site has a new design, the functionality will be familiar and clients will still be able to access the trading tools, watch lists and account information they are accustomed to.”

To ease the transition for clients, Scottrade created a web page with key information and step-by-step instructions for performing some of the most essential tasks.

To ensure Scottrade’s offerings grow with client needs, the company conducts extensive research, in-person focus groups and usability testing to help understand what clients want from a trading and investing experience. This research is coupled with ideas and feedback clients share with the company in branch offices, over the phone and through conversations online.

Beyond the website refresh, Scottrade has been busy improving the client experience in 2016. In the last quarter alone, the company lowered option contract prices to \\$0.70, launched mobile check deposit, introduced Recognia Options Ideas™ on Scottrade.com and unveiled a client service team dedicated to retirement planning. Earlier this year, clients ranked the brokerage “Highest in Investor Satisfaction with Self-Directed Services” in the J.D. Power 2016 U.S. Self-Directed Investor Satisfaction StudySM, and the company also earned “Best Overall Client Experience” from StockBrokers.com for the fifth consecutive year.
