Moscow Exchange opens annual Russia investment forum in New York
OREANDA-NEWS. The 2016 edition of the Moscow Exchange Forum: New York Session begins on November 15, with more than 400 delegates including global institutional investors, banks, traders, risk managers and portfolio managers attending the event.
The Forum opens with a plenary session to discuss current trends in the Russian economy and financial markets. Speakers on the panel include Alexey Kudrin, Chairman of the Board of MOEX and former Russian Finance Minister; Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia Sergei Shvetsov; Vladimir Kolychev, the head of budgetary policy and strategic planning at the Russian Finance Ministry; as well as representatives of international funds and major Russian companies.
A session on the advantages of trading Russia through Moscow Exchange will be chaired by MOEX CEO Alexander Afanasiev, and will focus on investment opportunities across asset classes, as well as the latest developments in Russia"s financial infrastructure and legislation.
The second day of the Forum, 16 November, will see a series of one-on-one meetings facilitated by Forum partner UBS for managers of major Russian companies listed on MOEX with the US investment community.
