OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings has withdrawn the 'A' Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) rating of American International Overseas Limited (AIOL).

Fitch is withdrawing the rating of AIOL as the entity has undergone a reorganization and no longer writes business or has insurance liabilities. Accordingly, Fitch will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage for AIOL.

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) is the ultimate parent of AIOL. AIG's ratings were affirmed on Aug. 29, 2016 and are unaffected by this action.

Fitch has withdrawn the 'A' IFS rating with a Stable Outlook for the following entity:

American International Overseas Limited
