OREANDA-NEWS  The Federal Budget will allocate 65.2 billion rubles for the construction of social facilities in the Far East. The money will be spent up to 2021.

"These funds should be financed within three years. But I just want to say that this is no more than half of the funds that will be spent on social development during this period," said Deputy Prime Minister, presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal district Yuri Trutnev.

For the allocated funding in the Far East, 22 hospitals, 31 schools, 33 sports facilities and ten cultural centers are planned to be built. Get the money and the new Far Eastern Federal district regions — Buryatia and Transbaikalia.

Large-scale construction and modernization of social infrastructure in the Far East began in 2018. As part of these activities, 31 schools and kindergartens, 19 hospitals, seven cultural and leisure centers, 27 sports facilities — more than 160 facilities-are being put in order and erected in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal district.

On Wednesday, February 6, the presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal district also said that the Far East development Fund will develop a mechanism for the distribution of forest areas through trading, similar to the electronic service for the provision of marine sites for aquaculture.

Trutnev believes that the introduction of such a mechanism will be much more difficult for a number of reasons, but such a task still has to be solved. "The Far East development Fund will implement it," he said.

Trutnev recalled that the Internet service for the provision of marine sites for aquaculture began to work in 2018.

In January, it became known that the Head of Russia Vladimir Putin gave a number of instructions on the Far East following the results of a large press conference that took place on December, 20.

In particular, the Ministry of Sports, together with the administration of Primorsky Krai, was instructed to study the reasons for the termination of the construction of the sports complex in Vladivostok, as well as "the expediency of completing the construction of this complex and putting it into operation."
