The United States has yet to default on Russia as Washington waits for a more opportune moment to sow panic among Russians, economist Vasily Koltashov said.

In the first quarter of 2022, 2,115 counterfeit banknotes with a face value of two thousand rubles were detected in Russia, which is 5.5 times more compared to the same period a year earlier.
