14 billion dollars were transferred from Russia to Uzbekistan

OREANDA-NEWS Transfers from Russia to Uzbekistan in 2022 soared 2.6 times compared to the previous year and amounted to $ 14.5 billion.
They noted that the volume of transfers from Russia turned out to be the maximum in comparison with other countries. In general, the number of money transfers to Uzbekistan from abroad increased 2.1 times by the end of 2022 and reached a record figure of $ 16.9 billion.
The volume of transfers from Uzbekistan to other countries increased by 29 percent, to $ 2.1 billion. The main recipients were Turkey and China.
Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of 2022, Russians have transferred $ 2.06 billion to Georgia, which is five times more than in the same period of 2021. The volume increased sharply in May — an increase of 888 percent in annual terms. In the next three months, the hype subsided a little, but in October, demand increased again.
Against this background, by the beginning of 2023, the Georgian lari has strengthened by more than 16 percent since the beginning of 2022, surpassing the growth rate of the Russian ruble.
