OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 March 2009 was announced, that on February 24, 2009 a record open interest in gold futures was registered on FORTS, RTS derivatives section.

By the end of the main trading session the open interest in the gold futures reached 4 671 97 087 roubles.

The previous record was set on February 20, 2009 when the open interest in the gold contract was 3 923 395 318 roubles.
