Volume of Transactions in Corporate Bonds on KASE Decreased by 15,1%

In 2008 the volume of purchase and sale transactions with corporate bonds made on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including deals on the Special Trading Floor of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty (STF RFCA) made up the equivalent of US3,652.0 m. (KZT436.1 bn.), reported the press-centre of KASE.
Relative to 2007 the volume decreased by USD 650.4 m. or by 15.1 %. The trend is estimated at KZT87.0 bn. or 16.6 % in tenge.
In 2007 the volume of purchase and sale deals in corporate bonds on KASE, including deals on STF RFCA, made up US4,302.5 m. (KZT526.3 bn.).
