On 30 December 2008 was announced, that for the week of December 15 – December 19, 2008 the total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on RTS) equaled 91,9 bln. roubles or 3,9 mln. contracts, including 27,8 bln. roubles during the evening trading session. The total open interest as of the last day of the week, December 19, 2008 reached 36,4 bln. roubles or 1,8 mln. contracts.
