OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 July 2008 was announced, that the board of directors of OJSC RTS elected Jacques Der Megreditchian as chairman of the board.

Jacques Der Megreditchian graduated from two Paris business schools: the European Business Institute (IEA), in 1984, and the French Center for Financial Analysis (CFAF), in 1987. He began his career with the Paris division of Credit Commercial de France (CCF) in 1985, from where he moved to the CCF office in Brussels as Deputy General Manager of trading operations in securities.

From 1993 to 1996, Jacques Der Megreditchian was head of Framlington Russian Investment Fund and also Chief Representative to Russia for CCF.From 1996 to 2000, he was Deputy General Manager of Societe Generale in Moscow, where he was in charge of capital markets and investment banking. From 2000 he has been with Troika Dialog.

Since 2004 he has been acting as Chairman of the RTS Board of Directors, and in 2006 Jacques Der Megreditchian became a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Stock Market Participants (NAUFOR).
