OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 June 2008 was announced, that over the week June 9th – 11th, 2008 RTS Index gained 0,60% to reach 2356,71 points (2342,70 points as of June 7th, 2008). Most of the positive impact on RTS Index became ОАО "LUKOIL" ordinary shares (LKOH) (plus 8,67 points), JSC Uralkali (URKA) (plus 6,16 points), Gazprom ordinary shares (GAZP) (plus 3,94 points).

The "second-tier" stock index – RTS-2 was up by 0,19% to 2604,45 points (2599,47 points as of June 7th, 2008). Last week the Russian market demonstrated a multidimensional dynamics and closed at the previous week’s level. The largest sectoral growth of, however, less than 1% was registered in the industrial sector. The largest dropdown was demonstrated in the metals & mining sector, the corresponding Sectoral Index went down by 1,12%.
