Volume of Transactions in Corporate Bonds on KASE Falls 48,7 %

For the initial 5 months of 2008 the volume of purchase and sale transactions with corporate bonds made on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including deals on the special trading floor of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty (STF RFCA), reached an equivalent of \\$838,6 m. (KZT101,0 bn.). Falling by \\$796,5 m. or 48,7 %. compared to the corresponding period of the last year. The trend is estimated at KZT100,8 bn. or by 49,9% in tenge equivalent, reported the press-centre of KASE.
In 2007 the volume of purchase and sale deals with corporate bonds on KASE, including deals on SRF RFCA, made the equivalent of USD4,302.5 m. or KZT526,3 bn.
