Kazakhstan SE Index Drops 4 Basis Points
OREANDA-NEWS. Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) informs that by results of the fixing on October 28, 2007 the value of indicator KazPrime decreased by 4 basis points compared to previous trading day and totaled 9.18% APR. The indicator KazPrime reflects the average value of rates of money supply on the Kazakhstan market of interbank deposits for 3 months' term and settlement base actual/360.
The calculation of KazPrime is made by KASE every day till 12:00 Almaty time (ALT) on quotations submitted to the trade system of KASE by participants of an agreement about forming of the indicator, from 10:00 till 11:30 ALT. Minimal volume of quotation is KZT150 m. The participants of the agreement on forming the KazPrime indicator currently are Bank TuranAlem JSC, Daughter Bank HSBC Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, Citibank Kazakhstan JSC, Kazkommertsbank JSC, Halyk savings bank of Kazakhstan JSC, and DAB ABN AMRO Bank of Kazakhstan JSC.
