OREANDA-NEWS. On September 19, 2007, on FORTS (Futures and Options on RTS) Derivatives Market a new record high trading volume of futures was registered. As reported, the trading day results amounted to 223,375 contracts or more than 23 billion rubles.

According to the RTS press-service, the previous record in trading volume of futures contracts on RTS was registered on August 21, 2007,having made up 21.8 billion rubles.
