OREANDA-NEWS. On September 25, 2007, the 5th Anniversary International Specialized Exhibition of Gas Supply and Effective Use of Gas GasSUF-2007 was opened. Honorary participants of the ceremony declared that this year the exhibition is a part of INTERNATIONAL Forum  Week of Efficient Gas Distribution and Utilization  organized by Gazprom, Promgaz, and NGVRUS with the participation of International Business Council of Sustained Development and International Gas Union.

According to MVK, an exhibition company, the 5th Anniversary International Specialized Exhibition of Gas Supply and Effective Use of Gas GasSUF-2007 touches upon such important aspects as the effective use of gas, gas fuel on transport, cryogenic technologies and gasification equipment for industry objects. The exhibition demonstrates the present state of gas equipment market and prospects of gas usage and also contributes to implementation of innovative technologies in gas and energy supply.

Viktor Stativko, President of NGARUS, said that "five yeas ago when they decided to hold the exhibition the problem of gas usage was not that relevant in Russia. Except for Gazprom, there were no any other conferences and exhibitions on gas usage. Nobody could predict then that the exhibitions would become so popular. It proves that the use of gas is very important for Russia. The exhibition will contribute to the strengthening of mutual cooperation between the manufacturer and the purchaser and promote effective equipment and technologies necessary for the Russian economy."
