OREANDA-NEWS. Decision on holding the 8th Conference of young experts of Transneft is now approved of, Transneft press-service reported.

The conference’s task is attraction of young specialist for resolving scientific and technical challenges, development and application of the achievements of science to production so as to increase efficiency of oil pipeline transport, and also for developing of the creative ability and professionalism of young specialists.

The conference, being organized in accordance with contest provisions of the Company, will review research scientific works and experimental developments featuring novelty and originality of solutions, which enable to effectively resolve topical production problems. The conference has three planned rounds. First is an elimination procedure to be hold in October-December at Transneft’s affiliates; second - an interim round, will take place in January-February 2008; and the final round - in March-April of 2008.
