OREANDA-NEWS. The 13th "Aluminium of Siberia" International Conference is being held in Krasnoyarsk these days. The "Aluminium of Siberia"Conference is one of the industry’s leading summits, held in the territory of the former Soviet Union. It gathers aluminium specialists and the leaders in global production of aluminium equipment. Last year more than 400 experts from 62 companies attended the Conference.

For the first time, Dr. Michio Kaku, a prominent Japanese-American theoretical physicist and internationally recognised authority in innovations and the environment, arrives in Russia at the invitation of UC RUSAL. As part of the 13th "Aluminium of Siberia" International Conference, on September 11 Dr. Kaku will present a report "With aluminium into the future. New technologies - new opportunities".
