Turkmenistan Commodity and Raw Materials Cooperates
OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2007. 26 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week, Turkmenistan government's press service reports. The contracts concluded in the hard currency totaled over 5.171 million US dollars. The businessmen from Iran bought polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries, the businessmen from Russia - magnesium chloride, sulfuric acid, cloth belts, wadding, the Ukrainian businessmen bought A grade sodium sulfate.
The transactions concluded in the deposit mantas amounted to over 65.665 million manats. The foreign businessmen bought knitted goods, cotton yarn, gray cloth, greige yarn and textile wastes, cocoons, raw fatty acids, cotton refined oil, tomato paste, household soap. The buyer countries: Azerbaijan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, Pakistan, Iran, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and the British Virgin Islands. The Turkmen businessmen bought polypropylene and ginned cotton to the sum of over 3.421 billion manats.
