OREANDA-NEWS. The oil production in the Russian Federation increased in January 2007 up to 9,85 million barrels a day. A month earlier, 9,79 million barrels has been extracted, Ministry of Industry and Energy informed.

The new level of extraction has become a record since the USSR times.
