Three-month contracts on purchase were made at the price of $2 692 for a ton of aluminium, $7 620 for a ton of copper, $1 480 for a ton of lead, $30 400 for a ton of nickel, $9 650 for a ton of tin, $3 860 for a ton of zinc.
