OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2011. A new bridge stretching across Taiping Lake is scheduled to be put into operation within this year, which is the third bridge over the lake.

The bridge located in Longmen Town, with a length of 404 meters and width of 7.5 meters, has 3 main piers. It's a part of S322 road connecting Peach Blossom Pool of Jingxian County and Gantang Town of Huangshan scenic zone, which is financed by loans of World Bank Group.

The road, expected to open to traffic by Dec.30,2011, will significantly slash travel time between the two places to 40 minites, one quarters of what used to take.
