OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2010.A small packet parcel was delivered to the Russian embassy in Athens today, 2 November, in the afternoon. According to the established procedure for examining incoming mail this parcel was checked with the necessary precautions. There was a fire. When the flame was extinguished, elements of an explosive device were detected. The embassy called Greek police who are carrying out a preliminary investigation of the incident. More detailed conclusions can be drawn after the report of local bomb disposal experts.

At the same time in Athens, as it has become known, several more attempts at similar terrorist attacks were undertaken. Fortunately, in all cases there were no reports of victims or damage.
