OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2009. Mr Ivanov briefed the President on the agency’s cooperation work in countering drug trafficking, noting in particular that the agency takes part in the regular Channel preemptive operations involving a number of other countries, and this has made it possible to step up the different law enforcement agencies’ performance to prevent drug trafficking.

The President said he thinks it would be a good idea to also make use of the Collective Rapid Reaction Force being established by the Collective Security Treaty Organisation to help in the fight against drug trafficking.
