OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2009. Within the European Union (EU) Twining Programme for the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan, the next workshop was held in Baku.

The State Committee informed that the workshop involved the Committee’s employees, representatives of the Ministries of Justice and Economic Development.

“The workshop was devoted to discussion of the legislative enactments of Azerbaijan for compliance with the Directive of the Responsibility for Commodity Security in Europe”,” it was informed.

German specialist T.Witrih discussed conformity of the Azerbaijan Republic legislative base on increasing the responsibility of producers and protection of consumers’ rights to the European legislation.
