OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 January 2009 was announced, that on an integrated poultry farm "Murmansk" the mass case of a bird on January, 15th has begun. By January, 20th on two hen houses was lost already more than 5 thousand baby birds. As informs GTRK "Murman", to the place of the possible centre of infection experts of regional veterinary service have urgently left. A dead bird have withdrawn for the analysis, and by results of the preliminary opening, the special commission has established, that the case has occurred because of failure in the technical equipment on Most "Murmansk". In the Kola area last week the temperature fell to a minus 38 on Celsius, chickens have simply frozen.

The main state inspector of Murmansk area Sergey Skomorohov so has commented on a situation: "On preliminary opening it there was a pneumonia. To exclude all infectious diseases though we on 99 % exclude them, tests are selected and laboratories are sent in laboratory on researches in Murmansk regional veterinary and in St.-Petersburg.
