OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2009. The national harvest festival and fair for rural toilers Dazynki 2009 will take place in mid September in the town of Kobrin and the Kobrin District, Brest Region. An Executive Order to this effect was signed by the President of the Republic of Belarus on 13 January, reported the Official website http://president.gov.by.

An organisational committee responsible for the preparation and holding of this event was also set up, Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Bambiza appointed its chief.

As usually, the festival will celebrate the winners of national competitions for the best harvesters of grain-crops, leguminous plants, best flax growers and best producers of cattle-breeding goods. Dazynki 2009 will also feature the winners of the national contest “Land Management with High Standards of Farming, Improvement of Engine Yards, Cattle Farms and Complexes”.

The Dazynki 2009 committee was tasked to adopt a festival organisation plan within the next two months.
