OREANDA-NEWS. A Russian Emercom plane on December 17 delivered a humanitarian aid cargo to Seiyun Airport in southern Yemen for the Yemeni province of Hadramout. A mobile power plant, tents, blankets and food will be sent to the population of this province that had suffered from heavy floods resulting in a loss of life and considerable destruction.

Rendered by order of the Government of the Russian Federation, the aid was accepted with gratitude by the representatives of Yemen’s leadership, who assessed it as a contribution to strengthening the traditionally friendly bilateral relations.
