Russian PM Vladimir Putin is upbeat on issuing a RUB 10.7 bn loan from VEB to Autodiesel to implement a project to manufacture the new YaMZ-530 diesel engine group compliant with Euro-4. “Certainly, we will discuss the issue at VEB Supervisory Board’s meeting and carefully analyze the project in detail. There are many advantages to adopting a positive decision”, the PM said at the Tuesday meeting in Yaroslavl devoted to the situation at Autodiesel, part of the GAZ Group. In turn, VEB Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev said at the meeting that the credit committee is to address the issue of floating a RUB 10.7 bn loan in mid-December. According to him, the bank has been working on the issue since September.
