OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2008. On December 17-20, Gomel, Zhlobin and Kyiv will host the Polesie Cup International Hockey Tournament.

The Group A which will be based in Zhlobin and Gomel will include the national hockey teams of Belarus, France and Latvia. The Group B which will be based in Kyiv will include the national teams of Ukraine and Denmark.

In the final, the winner of the two-round pay Ukraine-Denmark will meet with the best team of the Group A.

The final and the matches for the 3rd and the 5th places will be held on December 20.

In February 2007 and in 2008, the Belarus national hockey team was the winner of the two previous Polesie Cups.
