OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2008. III specialized commodity exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran has opened at the Exhibition Centre in today. The organizers – the Mashad International Exhibition Company and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The traditional forum brought together over 50 companies and firms from different regions of the neighbouring country. The leading experts of the large Iranian companies arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in the Turkmen capital.

The history of the trade and economic relations between two neighbouring countries traces back to ancient times and today can illustrate the well-balanced mutually advantageous partnership. This fruitful dialogue was offered a new powerful incentive to develop during the visits of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Tehran and Ashgabat and the successful top level talks which resulted in signing the important bilateral documents.

The regular exhibition of the Iranian goods in Ashgabat is another evidence of both countries’ adherence to the policy of expansion of mutually advantageous co-operation meeting the mutual interests. The Turkmen market is exceptionally attractive for Iranian businessmen who express the willingness to intensify fruitful contacts in a broad spectrum of fields that is vividly illustrated by the representation of Iranian business at the forum. Such famous companies as Anata, Pegah, Mamoot Ind Group, Darakar, Khazar Elekterek, Hamyar Sastan, Solex Khorosan, Iran Khodro – Iran’s large car manufacturer and Turkmenistan’s long-term partner

Thus, the forum will turn the Exhibition Centre into a platform for holding business talks and meetings, discussing the opportunities and perspectives of further development of Turkmen-Iranian co-operation, establishing new fruitful contacts.

The forum participants will visit the landmarks of the Turkmen capital.
