OREANDA-NEWS. October 6, 2008. Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev following the earthquake that has caused much destruction and loss of life in Alai District in the Osh Region.

Mr Medvedev’s telegram states Russia’s readiness to provide all necessary assistance in the disaster relief effort and expresses words of condolence and support for the victims’ families.
