OREANDA-NEWS. On September 12, 2008 Within the framework of his visit to Cherkasy region, in Vodyanyky village, President Victor Yushchenko took part in an opening of a fruit and berries deep freezing enterprise “Sirius”, reported the Official website www.president.gov.ua.

In his address at the event President stressed: “We are opening here the unordinary and interesting project. This will be the most powerful enterprise in Europe, built using modern technologies”.

He also said that such projects as “Sirius” are contributing to restoration of Ukrainian agricultural industry and bring our country's agriculture closer to European standards.

After his speech President cut the ribbon at the entrance to the facility and took a tour of it.
