OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2008. Summing up for August deflation is fixed in Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko disclosed this beginning sitting of the Government.

“Despite all political problems in the country there is good news – we have one more month – August – completed with deflation,” she underscored.

According to the Prime Minister, thus the Government demonstrates clear anti-inflation policy which gives a result. At that Yulia Tymoshenko focused attention that for very long time deflation had not been fixed in the country during two months running – “one can say that we have practically coped with such phenomenon as inflation”.

According to Yulia Tymoshenko, now the Government is working at strengthening such tendency.
