OREANDA-NEWS. On September 03, 2008 as Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko promised, the first day of Parliament’s work had become a real holiday for miners. The Government has unanimously approved a common bill of the Government and deputies “On prestige of miners’ work”.

Before voting the Head of Government urged deputies to unanimously support the bill for which the miners waited dozens of years.

After adopting the law Yulia Tymoshenko thanked deputies for unique unanimousness and wished that 99% of laws were adopted just so. “I believe, today due to the presence of these Heroes of Ukraine and Heroes of Socialist work the Parliament was united, they did what many politicians failed to do,” the PM emphasized.
