OREANDA-NEWS. September 3, 2008. Mr Medvedev instructed the Audit Chamber to keep financing for the construction of a bridge from Vladivostok to Russky Island under its constant supervision. The bridge’s construction is part of the preparations for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in 2012.

Mr Stepashin said he would keep the President regularly informed on the state of progress.
