OREANDA-NEWS. August 1, 2008. Mr Medvedev arrived in Uglich, one of Yaroslavl Region’s oldest towns, to hold a meeting on developing domestic tourism and issues concerning local self-government.

Taking part in the meeting are Presidential Aide Arkady Dvorkovich, Regional Development Minister Dmitry Kozak, Director of the Federal Tourism Agency Vladimir Strzhalkovsky, and the mayors of the towns of Suzdal, Plyos, Yaroslavl, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov and Uglich.
