OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2008. Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President of India Pratibha Patil and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh following terrorist attacks that claimed many lives.

“We were profoundly saddened to learn of the terrorist attacks that have killed dozens of innocent citizens and wounded hundreds in Bangalore and Ahmedabad”, Mr Medvedev said in the telegram. “There can be no justification for such barbaric acts of terror. I am certain that the instigators, organisers and executors will be punished without fail.

I ask you, on my own behalf and on behalf of the entire Russian people, to pass on my sincere condolences to the victims’ families and to wish a swift recovery to all who were injured”.
