Dmitry Medvedev Held Meeting on Personnel Policy
OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2008. Mr Medvedev advocated creating a national system to build up a reserve pool of management personnel. He proposed doing this by establishing a common data base on the best professionals, from which the most promising candidates would be included in a so-called presidential quota. The President said that this should be an open access data base on the country’s best specialists that everyone would have the right to use.
Mr Medvedev also noted the need for greater mobility among management personnel and personnel rotation at national level.
Among those taking part in the meeting were Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Naryshkin, his first deputy, Vladislav Surkov, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Sobyanin, and the plenipotentiary presidential envoys in the seven federal districts.
