OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2008. An exhibition “Beijing Olympic Games 2008” was opened in palace and park ensemble in Gomel on July 18. This exposition is showcased in Belarus for the first time.
The exhibition has been organized under the auspices of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Belarus and the National Olympic Committee in the Gomel oblast.

The visitors will have an opportunity to learn how the Chinese people are preparing for the Olympic Games. The exhibition features the photos of all the facilities where the competitions will be held. The visitors will be able to see souvenirs with Olympic symbols and make photos of the main symbols of the Beijing Olympic Games – Olympic flame and giant panda.

A separate stand is dedicated to the in-depth information on the 25 Gomel athletes who won 27 Olympic licenses.

The exhibition will stay open till September.
