OREANDA-NEWS. On July 11-13, 2008 the Congress of Tea Growers was held for the first time in the region. The event was organized by Network for Business and Development of Caucasus and supported by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) with the purpose of finding solutions of tea-growing problems in Caucasus and attracting investors to this sector. Representatives of the Governments of region countries, public figures and tea producers took part at the event. Tea Festival took place within the congress and included degustation of best tea sorts of the region.
