OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2008. A concert of the Venezuelan instrumental group Maraca Ensemble will take place in Gomel on July 10.

The ensemble will perform in the oblast center within the Days of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Belarus.

Maraca Ensemble was founded in 2000. A young Venezuelan quartet likes experiments in music: for instance, they take waltz and, without changing its original structure, perform it with a great sensibility; or put emotions into “joropo” (the Venezuelan national dance).

The musical company made tours of the whole Venezuela. The concerts in Bonaire, the Czech and Dominican Republics were a great success. Not long ago, Maraca Ensemble performed in Minsk.

The foreign instrumental band will perform in Tchaikovsky musical school #1. The entry is free.
