OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2008. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a strategy for the state metrological system until 2015.

The document foresees strengthening the protection of citizens and Ukraine's national economy from the consequences of using doubtful results of measurements, making exact measurements with the goal of receiving reliable results, extending international relations, and recognizing the results of measurements made by other states.

Moreover, the strategy foresees a decreased state influence on metrological activities in sectors regulated by the market.
