OREANDA-NEWS. June 27, 2008. On the occasion of the forthcoming Constitution Day President Victor Yushchenko took part in presentation of state awards.

In his greeting President reminded of the uneque Ukrainian constitutional tradition, which began with Pylyp Orlyk’s Constitution - one of the first state constitutions in Europe. "Our nation took the baton with dignity 12 years ago  adopting fundamental principles of country's system”, - he said.

He also expressed hope that complicated dialog on Ukrainian constitution modification would end up in success and emprovement of the Supreme Law.
