Prices of Gasoline, Diesel Fuel Not to Go Up in Ukraine in Two Weeks
OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2008. The prices for gasoline and diesel fuel will not increase in Ukraine during two weeks, analysis of the United Petroleum Consultants (UPECO) say.
According to experts, the market has stabilized lately. Increase in the prices of fuel will lead to reduction of sales, which is detrimental for retail network of filling stations, they say.
By May 16, Ukraine's average price of the A-95 gasoline topped UAH 6 per liter. From May 8 to 16, Ukraine's average retail prices of petroleum products changed as follows: A-76 gasoline rose by 2.8% (from UAH 5.29 per liter to UAH 5.44 per liter), А-92 rose by 3.4%, from UAH 5.62 to UAH 5.81 per liter, А-95 rose by 3.7% from UAH 5.98 to UAH 6.20 per liter, and diesel fuel rose by 3.7%, from UAH 5.98 to UAH 6.20 per liter.
