OREANDA-NEWS. June 23, 2008. Head of the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia Kakha Bendukidze had a meeting with the representatives of the Organization of German Technical Cooperation.

Participants of the meeting were Gabriele Bohringer, Director of the Regional Bureau of the GTZ, Frank Tibitantsl, Manager of the GTZ Regional Project on Enhancing the Private Sector in the Trans-Caucasus, Suzanne Bauer, the GTZ consultant and specialist on organization and development of private businesses, Gustav Raier, specialist and consultant in the vocational education, qualification and training sphere.

On behalf of the Georgian government, the meeting was attended by the First Depute to the Minister of Economic Development of Georgia Vakhtang Lejava, the Deputy Minister of Finance Dimitri Gvindadze as well as by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The participants of the meeting discussed next steps to be taken with regard to starting a new program on the development of the private sector in the Trans-Caucasus region.

The meeting was initiated by the GTZ (Organization of German Technical Coo­peration).
