OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2008. French Navy frigate "Tourville" paied a visit to Severomorsk, the main Russian Northern Fleet base. Russian frigate "Admiral Chabanenko" met French seamen.
 
During the stay in Severomorsk French sailors met with the command of the Northern Fleet, visited the museum of the Northern Fleet and the Naval Air Force Museum, got acquainted with the sights of the hero-city Murmansk.
 
On weekends French and Russian ships were open to visiting.
 
French ship visit will run until June 16. Then the French "Tourville" and the Northern Fleet "Admiral Chabanenko" will take the sea to conduct joint exercises.
