OREANDA-NEWS. The event has been opened on May 6 by the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev and King of Jordan Abdullah II and their spouses Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva and Queen Rania.

Around 200 Jordanian companies-representatives of medical industry, textile, construction, agriculture and etc. presented their productions.

After the opening ceremony of the exhibition Azerbaijan-Jordan business forum was organized by AZPROMO and the Ministry of Economic Development.

Mr.Mikayil Jabbarov Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, Mr.Amer Hadidi Minister of Industry and Trade of Jordan, Mr.Maen Nsour Executive Director of Investment Board of Jordan, Mr. Emil Majidov President of AZPROMO, Mr. Yarub Gudah Executive Director of the Corporation of Business Development of Jordan and others presented the information on cooperation perspectives of Azerbaijan and Jordan, economic and social situations of the countries.

Around 200 businessmen of Azerbaijan and Jordan participated in the forum.

After the official part of the forum bilateral meetings were held.
