OREANDA-NEWS. May 5, 2008. The aim of the amendments is to increase protection of intellectual property. Under the amended provisions, the manufacture of computer programmes and data bases is included on the list of audiovisual and phonogram production activities that require a license.

A license for copying audiovisual and phonogram products, computer programmes or data bases is not required if carried out by persons holding the copyright to the said products.
